Celebrating the Life of Artie Lee Jones

Artie Lee Jones entered this world on March, 18,1917 in Trenton, South Carolina.  She was one of three children born to the late John and Ethel Cummings.  

During her Adult life Artie fell in love and married the late William Jones; from that union they did not have children.  

Artie was a very Classy woman.  She loved to travel, dining out and to cruise around the world. Artie was a foodie.  Her favorite was seafood and Red Lobster was her favorite Restaurant. Artie lived in Great Neck, New York.  She stayed in her residence and took care of he ill brother until his passing.

In October of 2005,  while visiting her late cousin Amanda L. Jones she fell and broke her hip.  She was 88 years old. 
A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility became her home until her passing at the tender age of 101.  This is where she met a host of friends and colleagues who she loved and who loved her dearly.

Artie leaves to cherish her Precious Memory, Cousins Amanda L. Mitchell, Helena C. Mitchell-Hillian, Charne Rollins,Arnold Hillian Jr. and Alyssa Hillian,Thomas Cummings II (Byrd), and Thomas Cummings III (Tito). Dear friend Nicholas Garrett and a Host of Relatives and Friends to Numerous to mention.
