Her devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the Blessed Mother known for her unceasing care and consolation, was especially dear to her heart. Like the image of Mary she revered, Amanda sought always to comfort the afflicted and bring hope to the sorrowing, embodying in daily life the same enduring compassion that inspired her prayers.

Equally admired for her keen intelligence, Amanda was an astute businesswoman—clear-minded, diligent, and fair in all her dealings.
