Bob (Robert) Anglade

Bob (Robert) Anglade passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 68, with his wife and daughter by his side.  He was the loving husband of Diana Anglade, with whom he had celebrated 46 years of marriage. They shared many happy memories together, including the purchase of their home, where Diana still resides today, the birth and raising of their daughter, Danielle, many camping trips, and shared dreams. He was the proud father of Danielle Marie Crookes, her husband Raymond, and the proud grandfather of their children, Jolie and Micah. Bob was loved by his late parents Adeline and Leopold Anglade, who raised him in Port-au-Prince, Haiti until he immigrated to New York when he was a young man. He is survived by his siblings, Patrick, Florence, Sandra, Dominique, Gilbert, and Soraya and their spouses, his niece and many nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles of the Anglade and Saurel families. They each shared with him a love of family, laughter, and good music. He is also survived by his six brothers- and two sisters-in-law and the many nieces, nephews, and cousins of the Gonzalez Family, who affectionally called him Bobby or Uncle Bobby. He had the honor of being the godfather of several members of both sides of his family. Bob was a strong man and a hard worker who always found a solution to any problem for his family and his friends. He worked at Belmont Racetrack for 40 years, where he met some of his dearest friends and where he often provided guidance to his co-workers regarding work or life matters. In his free time, he loved woodworking, especially making furniture, toys, and lawn decorations, being outdoors in the mountains, fishing, and listening to music.

The Funeral Memorial Mass for Bob Anglade will be live-streamed via Zoom for those near and far who are unable to attend in person.  A zoom link will be provided closer to the funeral mass.
