Brian Thomas Holder was born in Rockville Centre, New York on July 8, 1994. He was one of two children to Sonny Holder and Antoinette Fisher Holder. Brian attended and graduated from Carman Road School in Massapequa in June 2015.
Brian was a miracle child, born premature and weighing under one (1) pound. Although he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth he led a full life in such a short period of time. He was blessed to have parents who cared for and provided anything and everything he could ever need or want. He also had a brother who completely adored him.
Brian was a joy to be around. He had great intuition and could tell if a person was genuine or not. When you came into his presence he would greet you with a smile, a hand wave and a loud “Hey”. Brian loved to be on the go, whether it was a car ride, skiing, going to the pool, or just a walk in the park. Let us not forget the special relationship and time he spent with his caregivers, most recently, Marcia Neil. Brian was full of love and although his speech was limited he was extremely expressive and would let you know his expectations. One could never forget how when you hugged him he would wrap his arm around you for a tight embrace.
Brian departed this life on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at home in Uniondale, NY. He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Sonny and Antoinette Holder; brother, Sonny Holder, Jr; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives, caregivers and friends.
