Elsa E. Pineda

PINEDA – Elsa (Espiritu) Pineda of Uniondale, NY, passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 81.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 54 years, Fred, and her two sons Edward and Allen. Edward and his wife Lisa (Villasenor) have Elsa’s loving grandson, Eli. Allen and his wife Helga (Bugay) have Elsa’s precious granddaughter, Ava.

Elsa was born and raised in the Philippines. She obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila. She came to the United States in the late 1960’s and was a licensed, practicing Physician in New York City for over 30+ years before retiring to enjoy her grandkids and spend time with her husband Fred.

Visitation will be held at Hartnett Funeral Home, 561 Jerusalem Ave., Uniondale on Wednesday May 24, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Martha's R.C. Church, 546 Greengrove Ave, Uniondale. Private Cremation will follow.
