Haifa T. Zaid

On Tuesday, February 11, 2020 Haifa T. Zaid, loving Wife and Mother of four children, passed away at the age of 59.
Haifa was born on February 16, 1960 to Tawfiq and Julia Shehadeh in Birzeit Palestine. She worked as a homemaker and full-time mom. She married the love of her life, Francis Zaid on January 20, 1980. They lived in Birzeit, Ramallah, Levittown, NY, Merrick, NY, and Milford, CT.  Together they raised four amazing children. Fareed, Adham, Malakeh (Mimi) and Amira. 
Haifa always put her family first. She would do anything and sacrifice her personal goals to make sure her family was happy. She had a passion for cooking meals and entertaining, oftentimes serving her guest until the moment they left her house. Haifa loved flowers and would always have a menagerie of floral arrangements throughout the house. Some real, some almost real, but always as beautiful as she was. Fashion was her forte, from her dress to her shiny shoes. Forever outspoken, she let you know what she was thinking. Always in a positive manner. 
Haifa was preceded in death by her Father Tawfiq, Mother Julia, and Brother Husam. She is survived by her Husband Francis. Her Brothers; Basim, Haytham and Mazen. Her Sisters; Basima and Wafa. Children; Fareed, Adham, Malakeh, Amira and their spouses Marlina, Jay and Josh respectively. Her Grand Children; Cecilia, Christopher, Selina, Gianna, Julia, David and Jenevieve. As well as all of her cousins, nieces and nephews.
