Janette Shatarah was born in Bethlehem, Palestine on August 17th 1960. On morning of Wednesday September 10th 2025, she passed away at the age of 65 years old after struggling with Alzheimer’s for seven years. She was surrounded by her loved ones and the family she built.
She immigrated to America in 1983 and met Rudolph Shatarah shortly after in 1984. They married on August 31st, 1985 and had four beautiful children, Juliana, Stephan, Samantha, and Joseph.
She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend to many, but she was so much more than that. She was incredibly intelligent and strived for only the best. She was kind, loving, caring, and the cornerstone of the family. She was strong enough to hold the family together through hard times and lived to help others, a true leader. She was always there when needed, a generous soul devoted to her family, friends, and the church. She loved to dance and be the life of the party, she was always in the center of the dancefloor. Despite her life being cut short, she still lived a life full of love and happiness. She will be deeply missed and her impact will still be felt.
