Jeanine Lundi Michaud, 80, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday May 24th, 2023. Jeanine passed away peacefully in the arms of her son, reunited with the love of her life Jean-Marie Michaud who transitioned in 2004.
While her family and friends are shocked by her death, they are thankful for her life.
Born Daughter of Guilio Lundi and Emilie Genia Lundi on May 10th, 1943 in Les Cayes, Haiti. Jeanine Relocated to New York in 1972. Jeanine lived in Hempstead New York for over 45 years. Worked as a Nurse until she retirement in 2005
Jeanine was a caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Survived by her son Stanley Michaud, sisters Josette Lundi, Florette Lundi numerous nieces and nephews.
A Devout catholic, Jeanine was involved in many religious groups such as Pitit Manman Marie, Ava Maria and as a dedicated Christian Jeanine continuously prayed for family and friends. She cared deeply for the people around her. She was a kind and compassionate individual, impacting many lives.
She will be forever missed.
