Judy Rajkumar Obituary

Obituary

Judy Rajkumar, also known fondly as Nisha and Niala, was born on April 7, 1971 in Couva, on the island of Trinidad.  She was the last of thirteen children born to Carlton and Dolly Debideen.  She attended Exchange Presbyterian Primary school, Couva Junior Secondary School and Carapichaima Senior Comprehensive School.  She continued to study, taking an interest in computers and business.  Throughout her studies, she developed an interest in caring for the elderly while looking after her parents.

At the age of twenty-nine, she migrated to the United States to start a new life.  It was here she met and married Sean Rajkumar.  Her compassionate nature led to her work in the healthcare field until her health was jeopardized and she could no longer work.

Judy was a deeply spiritual woman, and frequently reflected on life and God.  Her worship through Grace Cathedral richly enhanced her reflections.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to religious music.  She never stopped relishing her love for ' Trini ' food and animals like Daria, her pet cat, whom she called her child.

Judy is survived by her husband Sean, and her mother Dolly Debideen.  She was the sister of Savitri, Sandra, Geeta, Franklin, Dave, Lincoln, Vijay, Annabelle, Joan, Claire, Anil and Arvindra; sister-in-law to Nuroon, Bill, Tony, Vidya, Roy, and Chan.  She was an aunt to Rajiv, Hannah, Priya, Miriam, Verana, Daisha, Lucia, Fayama, Leticia, David, Uvani, Niranjan, Ashelle, Ashanna, Arana, and Kyla.

Judy will be greatly missed by all.
