In Loving Memory of Keith Michael Miller
Keith Michael Miller, of Uniondale, New York, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026.
Born on May 8, 1953, in Georgetown, Guyana, Keith was the cherished son of the late Sydney Miller and Joyce Devonish. Raised in Georgetown alongside his younger sister, Marva Moore, Keith displayed an exceptional mind and dedication to learning from an early age, graduating top of his class as valedictorian from Alleyne’s High School in Georgetown. In his youth he ventured into different careers, first working as a teacher and then working for Guyana Airways. He eventually went on to pursue higher education in Venezuela at Universidad de Carabobo where he earned his degree in Engineering and became fluent in Spanish.
Throughout his life he displayed a deep love of reading and traveling.
In 1985, Keith moved to the United States to embark on a new chapter, beginning a fulfilling career in Engineering working at a firm in Manhattan. He eventually settled in Uniondale, NY, where he built a loving home, married, and raised his two children.
Keith's greatest pride was his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He took immense joy in being a grandfather—Always going for walks, playing soccer, and spoiling his grandsons with all the snacks their hearts desired. His warmth, dedication, and gentle spirit leave behind a lasting legacy of devotion and love.
Keith is survived by his beloved wife, Kamla Boodhai; his son, Brian Miller; his daughter, Jaimee Miller; and his grandsons, Lance Richards and Evan Thomas. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Marva Moore; his nephew, Darren Moore; and his grand-niece, Dream Moore.
Keith will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and remembered always in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
In Lieu of sending flowers donations can be made in Keith’s memory to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s.
