Kevin Simon Glaudin, Esq. was born on September 16th, 1996 on Long Island, New York to Fresnel Glaudin, Dr. Margarett Simon Alexandre and older sister Katrina Trisha Moise. His early years were spent in Uniondale and Roosevelt with his tightly knit army of aunts, uncles, cousins & a village of friends who became family . The family then moved to Dix Hills where he attended Paumanok Elementary School. From there, he attended the Knox Quaker School and graduated from St. Anthony’s Catholic High School. He started his college career at CUNY, York College and went on to attend Queens College in Flushing, Queens where he was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in May of 2018. He decided to pursue a career in law. After receiving many admissions letters and a full scholarship to St. John’s University Law School as a Ron Brown Scholar, Kevin ultimately decided to “bet on himself” and moved across the country to attend the prestigious University of Southern California. While attending USC, he worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. He graduated from the Gould School of Law in May, 2022 and accepted a private equity specialist position at Ropes & Gray LLP; one of the top 20 law firms in the United States. He considered this position one of his greatest accomplishments and often talked about one day becoming a partner.

Kevin Simon “Leo” Glaudin, affectionately known as “Kevy”, was a basketball enthusiast who especially loved Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. He also loved playing golf and spoke about the need to practice his swing to become a better golfer. Kevy loved playing video games and building legos. He developed unique and special relationships with each family member as well. He took his roles as son, brother, nephew, cousin friend and godfather to Atticus Myrthil seriously. Kevy could often be heard referring to Atticus as “my guy.” Aside from his work within his family and close knit circle, he sought to pay his knowledge forward to the next generation. He lent a hand in running the mission and vision of “Mission Granbois” 501c3 Organization after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. He made multiple trips to Haiti with his mom, sister and mission serving as the lead technical support and assisted with teaching the children of Mission Grandbois basic computer literacy.

His tenacity for living was demonstrated in his courage and fight as he battled  a rare form of brain cancer like a champion to the very end. He maintained his composure without ever complaining about the challenges and sacrifices he made. Kevy left behind a bright and promising future and an inspirational example for us all. He will be greatly missed and remembered fondly, leaving an enormous legacy. He accomplished a lot in his 26 years on Earth and taught us a lot about strength, humility and love and that, we will always be thankful for.
