Marie Guerrier

Marie Wiselaine "Lelene" Guerrier, 50, of Hempstead, NY, went to be with God on the 6th of August surrounded by her children. Born on November 23rd, 1974, in Cabaret, Haiti, to Dieulamise Bien Aime and Wesnel Guerrier, she dedicated the majority of her adult life to child raising and working support roles in the education system. A God-fearing woman, Marie loved to pray, listen to, and sing worship songs. Marie was preceded in death by both her parents. She is survived by her children Benedice, Christian, Christelle, and Joshua, as well as her sisters Edrige and Esperanta. Marie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, praying until her final breath. Her legacy will live on through the love and lessons she imparted to her children. Friends and family are invited to Hartnett Funeral Home on August 22, 2025, at 5 pm for the wake. The interment will begin at 10 am on the following Saturday at Horeb Alliance Church at 65 Morton Ave, West Hempstead, NY 11552. The burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery.
