She received her law degree from La Faculte de Droit in Haiti. She was a professor at Caroline Chauveau school in Haiti. From then she continued her journey to France, where she continued her teaching education with a scholarship from l’UNESCO in Paris. That marriage produced a son, Joseph Emmanuel Apollon, whom she raised to become a fine man! Marie left the Congo and came to the U.S. in 1981, where she pursued a career in nursing care. Marie was known for her unwavering kindness and generosity, always putting others before her and making a positive impact on everyone she encountered. She LOVED to pray. She had a special devotion to Saint Jude. On her loved ones birthdays, she Always had a cake, ice cream and soda ready to wish them a happy birthday to share with her neighbors. She loved to socialize with her neighbors and church family. Marie was always willing to help others. If she couldn’t help the individual herself, she would seek help for that person. She liked to play bingo as well.
