Marjorie Carolyn Edwards Ganter, born on August 10, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, to Albert and Matilda Edwards, passed away surrounded by family. She dedicated her career to education and took great pride in earning her teaching degree. Throughout her life, she maintained a strong interest in creative work and had a long-standing goal of writing children’s books.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters Jennifer (and husband Frank) and Christine (and husband Steve); her grandchildren Kate (and fiancé Matt), Ashley (and husband Mario), Abby, and Stephen; and her sister, Debbie Puzzo (and husband Skip). She is also survived by her nephews James, Jeffrey, and Justin, along with many cousins.
Her commitment to her family and her work in education remain central parts of her legacy. She will be missed by those who knew her.
