Milton Bowe Sr. Obituary

Milton Eugene Bowe was born on January 31, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York. He was the last of three children born to Ursula Bowe, including his sisters Mary and Florence. He attended a food trade high school where he developed a love of cooking. Milton met Pauline Walker, when they were teenagers. They were married on June 14, 1959 after a long courtship. They started their life together in Queens, New York and had three children, Monique, Milton and Maria. They then moved from Queens to Uniondale and raised their family. Milton loved his family, his life and cooking. He was a faithful man who attended church regularly and decided to covert to Catholicism. After retirement, Milton and Pauline moved to their retirement home in Lecanto, Florida. They were married for 55 years, before her passing in March 2015. Milton continued to live in Lecanto and shared time with friends from St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and support groups. After living alone for many years, he required more care and relocated back to New York with his daughter and granddaughter, who lovingly cared for him throughout many hospitalizations. Milton entered eternal life on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Milton’s passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts and lives of: his daughter, Monique; his son, Milton, Jr.; his daughter, Maria; his grandson, Joseph and his wife Angel; his granddaughter, Nia; his great-grandson, Jayden; his nephew, David Carter; his great nephews, Michael, David and Brian, the Fink Family, as well as a host of many loving family and friends. “Goodbyes are forever. So long.” ~ Milton E. Bowe, Sr.
