Natalie’s Queen of Hearts

God sent us an angel

Her presence graced us for a short time

She was the spirit of unconditional love

And the test of character in our earthly lives

Natalie knew love, kindness and forgiveness

Seldom did she complain

We will miss her

Our lives will never be the same

Just know, I will be talking, walking, and playing

My newly learned games

I am no longer feeling pain

You may not know that she was a teacher and a warrior too

We thought we were the leaders, but she was the bravest soul that guided us

Through and through

Saints extended outreach

Siblings guarded me their watchful eyes

Because of you, I  have the tools to fly 

Natalie was also an artist in case you didn’t know

She used her Crayola Crayons to draw and tell her stories

She created memories

So we could see her life

Her words were written in color

Far beyond the skies

Her vision was shared through her paper telescope

She was the morning glory of the sunrise

Our Queen of Hearts is on her way home

This is not goodbye

She said thank you for the best days of my life

So please don’t cry

Natalie mentioned that she is on a journey

All of you trained me up so well

I have a new chapter that I’m beginning

God is pleased Mom, Dad, and siblings

I have a new story to tell

I have a brand-new celebration of life
