Rafaela Frias Obituary

There are really no words big enough, strong enough, worthy enough to describe how beautiful Rafaela Frias truly was. A mom, a sister, a friend, a God-fearing and giving woman.
To know her was to love her
Her humor was biting. As she loved to remind us “By the time you think about going, I have been there and been back”
Her dominos game was strong. She would often leave the women’s group to play dominos with the men. After beating them she would leave the room stealthily.
She was the matriarch of our family. When our family needed a helping hand up mom was always the one to give it.
Most of all she was hilarious, the stories are endless.
Rafaela is survived by a brother Daniel Frias and sister Fela Polanco, both of the Dominican Republic. Daughters: Anita Frias of Uniondale NY.  Mirella Florentino and her husband Zoilo of Bonao, Dominican  Republic and Lillian Romero and her spouse Mark McGruder of Dallas, Texas and one Son: Fransisco Del Orbe and his wife Anabel of Uniondale NY. Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mom, we love you to infinity and back
