Ryan Bruce Coners

Ryan Bruce Coners, of 119 Locust Street Garden City, NY passed away July 1, 2025. Ryan graduated from Garden City High School and went on to work with his father Bruce in contracting. He was adventurous, brilliant, and extremely talented in everything he pursued. He was a skilled wood worker, carpenter, and helped build houses with his father. He then spent his career working for Riverhead Building Supply, which he loved with all of his heart. He was a loving husband, loyal son, proud uncle, brother, nephew and friend. He was always there when you needed him. Incredibly generous with both his time and love. He wanted to take care of everything for everyone he loved. He had a special place in his heart for those in extreme need, and would stop at the drop of a hat to help anyone and everyone. He could fix anything and everything, cars, houses, electronics. He was brilliant and extremely skilled with his hands. He has great faith in our Lord Jesus and always brought comfort, peace, and joy to anyone and everyone in his presence. Ryan went out of his way to encourage everyone in his life to grow stronger and deeper in their faith in the Lord. Most people mistaken kindness for weakness but kindness and love were Ryan's greatest strengths. He had multiples of everything and every type of tool, gadget, lock pick, and knife, you could ever need. He was an adventurer and would light up at the sight of challenge. He will be greatly missed by his wife (His Sweet One) Christina, his parents Bruce and Christine, his brothers Jeff and Eric, his sister Christa, his niece and nephew Leah and Jonah, his best friend and cousin Tara, and his closest friend (more like a brother) Corey. Visitation Friday, July 11th, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Hartnett Funeral Home 561 Jerusalem Avenue Uniondale, NY 11553. Our Pastor will be speaking sometime between 8-9pm on Friday July 11th. We will meet Saturday July 12th at 9:30 am at Hartnett Funeral Home to say our last goodbyes, followed by his burial at Greenfield Cemetery 650 Nassau Rd. Uniondale, NY 11553 at 10:00 am. Our Pastor will speak at Ryan's burial as well. The one thing that made Ryan stand out above the rest was his heart, he was and is the most kind hearted, selfless, loving man anyone has ever known, and now he is in the loving and glorious presence of Jesus, and we all know there is no better place to be!
